Benjoin Sumatra Siftings
René Schönefeld’s Benjoin Sumatra siftings is a grey and yellow-reddish natural resin with a very sweet scent, giving off an aroma strongly reminiscent of vanilla. The scent is rich, strong and refined with soft tones.
The natural resin is obtained from different gum trees that belong to the genus Styrax, in particular the Styrax Benzoin. This tree originates from Sumatra, Indonesia’s fifth-largest island.
Benjoin Sumatra is a natural resin used in rituals, ceremonies or mediation. Burning natural resin is a rich sensory experience. It burns on charcoal tabs specifically designed for natural resins burning. These special charcoal tabs are available on Three Kings official website. The natural resin should not be used as a food additive or for pharmaceutical purposes.
