Romulus

René Schönefeld’s incense Romulus consists of a mixture of yellow, red, green, blue and clear glazed gum granules with lavender blossoms. Romulus’ fragrance is a classic combination of different types of incense. It has a distinctly dark and nostalgic fragrance.

Romulus consists of three types of gum granules (Olibanum, Myrrh and Gum Benjoin). These granules are obtained from different gum trees, in particular the African Boswellia Papyrifera and Commiphora Myrrha and the Asian Styrax Benzoin. The granules have been washed in perfume oils and coloured with pigments that are all EU-approved.

The blend Romulus is an incense meant to be used in rituals or meditational purposes. Burning incense is a rich sensory experience and it should burn on charcoal tabs specifically designed for incense burning. These charcoal tabs are available on the Three Kings’ official website. This incense is not meant to be used as a food additive or for pharmaceutical purposes.
