Eritrea first choice

René Schönefeld’s Eritrea first choice is a mixture of yellow and yellowish-white incense with a very classic scent, known to many, and gives off a sweet, spicy fragrance.

The incense is obtained from different gum trees that belong to the genus Boswellia, in particular the Boswellia Papyrifera. This tree originates from the African countries of Eritrea, Ethiopia and Sudan.

Eritrea first choice is an incense meant for use in rituals. Burning incense is a rich sensory experience and it should preferably be burned on charcoal tabs specifically designed for incense burning. This incense should not be used as a food additive or for pharmaceutical purposes.
